Demo is done and the slate is clean - literally. This is a full-house tile job in Mansfield, and before a single new tile goes down, we made sure the subfloor was ready to receive it right. That means a complete tear-out of the existing flooring, debris removal, and getting the slab to a condition we're confident in.

Here's the thing about tile - it's only as good as what's underneath it. If the surface isn't flat, clean, and properly prepped, you're going to see it in the finished floor. Lippage, cracking, grout lines that don't hold. We've seen what happens when crews skip this step, and it's not pretty. That's exactly why we don't.

Once the subfloor is ready, we get into layout. We use tile leveling clips and wedges across every run to keep things tight and perfectly even as the adhesive cures. It slows the process down a little, but the result is a floor that sits flat and looks like it was meant to be there.

The furniture and cabinetry are wrapped and protected throughout the whole job. A full-house tile install means we're working through multiple rooms and high-traffic areas at once, so keeping the home protected while we work is part of the process - not an afterthought.

This one's going to be a great finished product. The prep work is solid, the layout is dialed in, and we're moving through it the right way. That's what makes the difference between a floor that lasts and one that gives you problems down the road.
